Gun magazines store ammunition for a firearm, and feed the bullets into the gun in sequence when in use. There are many different styles and capacities of magazines designed for particular guns or firearm styles. Magazines allow a gun to fire multiple rounds quickly without needing to stop to reload. Without a magazine, a gun would require multiple barrels to fire more than one shot quickly. Normal capacity magazines general hold 10 rounds of ammunition or less, as higher capacity magazines are generally banned in the United States.
