Aborting an advertising campaign that equated the killing of animals for food with the Holocaust did not teach the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals a lesson. Now they are comparing the killing of animals for food to the lynching of Afro-Americans. Furthermore, they are taking on Eva Longoria, the sultry star actress in the hit TV program, “Desperate Housewives,” because she recently stated on Oprah Winfrey’s national television show that “I can skin a deer and a pig and a snake – and rabbits” when talking about her youthful hunting experiences with her dad. Dipping into the organization’s cesspool of bad taste, PETA spokesman Michael McGraw said, “If Eva is set on going hunting, we hear Vice President Cheney is looking for a new partner.”
