The LAPD SIS (Special Investigation Section) is an elite undercover unit that specializes in working violent and dangerous criminals. After selecting Kimber to manufacture a series of specialized .45 ACP pistols for duty, SIS agreed to allow Kimber to offer these same pistols to the public. The new Kimber SIS series offers an ideal balance of power, dependability and no-nonsense carry features.
